Read Bible: a commandment!

"Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night [...]"
Josha 1;10

This verse is at the imperative form.Indeed, it's an order, a commandation, a God's commandment.  If you obey to this commandment , you will meet another ones .In this way, you will success in the obedience of the Word.

You may find an excuse by saying , it doesn't matter if you don't obey to this order because with the others, you obey.But, if you behave with this mind, you will stay in the sin because God wants us to obey to all of his orders.

May the habit of reading Bible becomes a subjects of joy in our life because " Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night" Psalm 1; 1 to 2
